Fort McMurray Public Schools - Fort McMurray Public School District is home to 14 schools – with two more opening in the next two years! We offer a variety of programming for our youngest three-year-old Early Childhood Development Program students to our graduating Grade 12s.
Keyano College - Keyano College is a comprehensive community institution located in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, one of Canada’s fastest growing urban areas. The College has stewardship responsibility for the northeast region of Alberta which requires that it provide access to a range of post-secondary programs and services for the population located in its service area. Over the course of history, Keyano College has proactively positioned itself as a community builder along with its industry and community partners and accordingly, has facilitated both the achievement of rural development objectives by educating and training the human resource capital required for industry expansion while also serving as the primary acculturating institution within the region.
The Fort McMurray Catholic Board of Education - The Fort McMurray Catholic Board of Education serves approximately 5,900 students in 11 schools. All schools offer a wide range of programming geared towards meeting the academic, cultural and spiritual needs of our community. An integral part of the Public Education System of Alberta, Catholic Schools offer a faith-based learning environment to students of any background and a level of instruction geared toward the highest academic standards. Instruction is primarily in English.
